The Challenge

"Mothers raising children with additional needs carry an enormous load: medical reports, assessments, NDIS plans, school letters, receipts and a whole care team to coordinate, while their own wellbeing comes last. Hannah, a mum who lives it, wanted one calm place that holds all of it and looks after the mother too."

The app had to feel gentle, not like another productivity tool. It needed to keep sensitive family documents in one safe place, turn everyday notes into NDIS- and GP-ready reports in one tap, and work for a parent who is often too tired to type, including parents whose first language isn't English.

Our Approach

DevForge designed and built StrongHERside end to end: the UX and UI, the iOS and Android app in React Native, and a NestJS backend with the AI features. We kept the experience calm on purpose, with no streaks, no shame and no pressure, and built voice capture so a mother can speak in her own language and have it written down for her.

What we built

Everything behind the app: a Care File for each child, one-tap reports for NDIS reviews, handovers and the mother's GP, a calendar with Google Calendar sync, a daily check-in with a gentle reflection, and wellbeing tracking for mood, sleep and the invisible load.
